Just walking around on the worlds second largest old city wall, watching down to Diyarbakirs old town while sunset I discovered a pool next to the wall. Between the extremly close to each others built houses connected by small and dark lanes, a real swimming pool has open for the kurds to cool down from the 45 hot degrees in August. A scenery just 200 meters away from an abandoned turkish prison where an uncounted number of kurds were tortured and disappeared until the late 1990´s.
